WE CAN HELP WITH

Multiple Birth

While welcoming multiples to your family can be incredibly special, coping with more than one baby is a uniquely challenging experience. If you’re sleep-deprived, torn between the needs of different babies, struggling with breastfeeding, isolation and have no time for self-care, then you’re not alone.

Multiple births—such as twins or triplets—can bring immense joy but also significant mental health challenges for parents. The increased physical demands of carrying multiples, higher risk of pregnancy complications, and likelihood of a NICU stay can add stress and anxiety during the perinatal period. After birth, the intense demands of caring for more than one baby—such as sleep deprivation, constant feeding, and balancing individual needs—can lead to parental exhaustion, overwhelm, and a heightened risk of postpartum depression and anxiety. Parents of multiples may also feel isolated, as traditional parenting advice and support networks may not fully address their unique challenges. Financial strain, relationship pressures, and reduced personal time can further impact well-being. Access to specialized support, practical help from family and friends, and connection with other parents of multiples can be essential in managing stress, maintaining mental health, and finding confidence in parenting multiple children.
