Claire is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Claire has experience working with adults, children and adolescents providing psychological treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss and complex mental health presentations.
Claire is passionate about supporting parents who are contemplating conception, adjusting to parenting, have experienced miscarriage or neonatal loss or are experiencing relationship difficulties or stress due to life transitions. Claire has a particular interest in supporting parents who are balancing work and family responsibilities and in supporting diverse families, including LGBTQ+ parents.
Claire works within a range of therapeutic frameworks including trauma-focussed cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and other evidence-based psychological interventions to support clients to work towards positive change.
Claire has completed the Maternal Mental Health Intensive with the Seleni Institute as well as perinatal mental health training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE). Claire is an accredited Circle of Security facilitator and a registered supervisor for training other psychologists.
