Claire Dicarlo

Counsellor

Claire Dicarlo

Claire is a counsellor specialising in motherhood and matrescence.

Her passion for counselling was ignited by her own transition into parenthood, when receiving support made an enormous difference in those early, vulnerable months. She now enjoys walking alongside other parents to navigate the messy and magical early years with more self-compassion and less guilt.

As well as counselling, Claire facilitates evidence-based parenting programs like Circle of Security, supports first-time parents to prepare for postpartum via Beyond Birth, and has completed extensive training in child development and parent-infant attachment, including Neuroprotective Developmental Care (Possums).

Claire is also deeply passionate about supporting neurodiverse families through an affirming, strengths-based lens. Being late-diagnosed with ADHD herself (and raising an amazing autistic child), Claire brings rich lived experience to her calm, compassionate practice.
