Claire is a registered counsellor (ACA) and Master of Counselling student with a special interest in perinatal mental health.
Her passion for counselling was ignited by her own transition into parenthood, when receiving support made an enormous difference in those early, vulnerable months. Since then, she has enjoyed supporting other parents to navigate the messy and magical early years with more self-compassion and less guilt.
Claire facilitates a wide range of evidence-based parenting programs including Circle of Security, and has completed extensive professional development in perinatal mental health, including training in Neuroprotective Developmental Care (Possums).
She has a particular interest in postpartum wellbeing and birth trauma, and is also deeply passionate about supporting neurodiverse families through an affirming, strengths-based lens.
Her counselling approach is inclusive, trauma-informed, and person-centred, underpinned by a deep respect for every family’s uniqueness
