We believe cost should never stop you getting support. We bulk-bill through Medicare, so most people pay nothing.

How to get started
See your GP
Ask for a Mental Health Treatment Plan and a referral to Mums Matter. This is what makes your sessions bulk-billed.
Book a session
Choose a psychologist and a time that suits you online. Sessions are by video, phone or in person at one of our locations.
Pay nothing for your first sessions
With a GP plan, your first 20 sessions with us are bulk-billed. Medicare covers up to 10 sessions each calendar year.
What these words mean
- Mental Health Treatment Plan
- A plan your GP writes with you in a standard appointment. It lets Medicare pay for your psychology sessions. Some people call it a Mental Health Care Plan.
- Bulk-billed
- We claim the session straight from Medicare, so you have nothing to pay.
- Gap fee
- The part of the fee Medicare doesn't cover. You pay the full fee on the day and Medicare refunds the rest to you.

Medicare funds up to 10 sessions each calendar year. We bulk-bill up to 20 sessions in total with Mums Matter.
