I am a goal-oriented psychologist dedicated to helping people create meaningful and lasting change. I work with adolescents and adults aged 16 years and over, using a collaborative and practical approach that focuses on your strengths, values, and goals. I have a particular interest in supporting people experiencing trauma, anxiety, and depression, and frequently use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) as part of treatment. EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that can help process distressing experiences and reduce the emotional impact of past events that continue to affect the present. I take a solution-focused and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)-informed approach, helping you build on what is already working in your life while developing practical strategies to move toward what matters most to you. Therapy is tailored to your individual needs and delivered in a supportive, respectful, and non-judgemental environment. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and support clients experiencing sleep difficulties, particularly where sleep is impacted by anxiety, depression, or trauma. I have a strong interest in supporting mums and dads experiencing postnatal depression, anxiety, and trauma, and understand how challenging the transition into parenthood can be for individuals and families.
