Get Started

I am a 52-year-old mother of two teenagers, currently completing a Master of Psychotherapy and Counselling at Western Sydney University.

I bring more than three decades of experience as an artist and researcher, with a practice grounded in photography, family life, and the psychological dimensions of motherhood. My research has examined how women’s identities shift in motherhood and how families live through grief, loss, and change. This has involved sustained engagement with diverse families during some of life’s most difficult and intimate experiences, including infant loss, migration, and major life transitions. That work, and the depth of listening it required, is what led me to psychotherapy training.

I understand pregnancy and early motherhood as significant identity experiences shaped by cultural expectation, relational change, attachment, anxiety, hope, and grief. My therapeutic approach is person-centred and relational, grounded in careful listening, steadiness, and respect for each person’s experience. I am particularly drawn to supporting mothers and families during times of transition, and I look forward to offering thoughtful, ethically attuned care as I continue to develop as a therapist.
