Aimee is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She brings warmth, curiosity, and a collaborative approach to her work and is committed to fostering safe and secure environments that promote well-being for both mothers and their children.
Aimee has experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults across hospital, community, and private practice settings, working with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, body-focused repetitive behaviours, and emotional dysregulation. Her therapeutic approach draws on a range of evidence-based models, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Metacognitive Therapy (MCT), and Exposure Therapy.
Aimee is especially passionate about perinatal and early family mental health. She places strong emphasis on creating a supportive, compassionate environment where women feel safe and understood. She adapts therapeutic strategies to fit the realities of early parenthood, helping mothers to reduce self-criticism, build coping strategies, and strengthen their bond with their baby. Her goal is to provide care that is flexible, accessible, and responsive to each client’s circumstances, with the aim of supporting long-term wellbeing for both mothers and their children.
