Dr Claire Lubotzky is a registered clinical psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Claire is an experienced clinical psychologist and has worked in both adult and child mental health settings. She practices in a clear, open, authentic and warm manner, always using a client (family)-focused approach. Her doctoral research focused on the importance of early intervention and parent-child/carer-child relationships as the focus for supporting children with their difficulties. Claire brings this focus to working with clients from an evidence-based perspective. Claire is also trained as a Circle of Security group facilitator. She enjoys working with parents to help them to reflect upon their children’s attachment needs in order to promote and strengthen secure attachments.
Claire recently completed child parent psychotherapy (CPP) training. CPP is an evidence-based, trauma-informed intervention designed for infants and their caregivers who have experienced trauma, loss, or disruptions in attachment. CPP aims to strengthen the parent–child relationship as a pathway to healing. She has also completed perinatal specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE)
