Charlotte began her psychology career in 2015 after completing her studies in Melbourne. She initially worked in the public health sector in Northern Queensland, gaining experience in both acute mental health care and hospital-based psychology. Her roles included supporting individuals with moderate to severe mental health conditions in an acute care service, as well as working in renal psychology and supporting patients with complex medical needs.
She later moved to Alice Springs in Central Australia, where she worked with a Child and Youth Mental Health Service, providing support to children, adolescents, and their families in a remote setting.
Charlotte is currently completing her Master of Clinical Psychology and is in the final year of her placement. Over the past year, she has worked in private practice supporting children, adolescents, and families accessing services through the NDIS.
With a strong interest in perinatal mental health, Charlotte is excited to be undertaking a placement in this area. As a mother of two, she brings both professional experience and personal insight to her work, and is passionate about supporting the mental health and wellbeing of parents during this life-changing period.
