General Psychologist
Steph Rathbone Rathbone
Hello, I’m Steph, a registered psychologist who is passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical support, and evidence-based care. I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where we can work together to help you move towards the life you want to live. As both a psychologist and a mum of three, I have a deep appreciation for the joys and challenges that come with balancing family life, relationships, work, and personal wellbeing. While everyone’s story is unique, I know how important it is to have someone in your corner during life’s more difficult seasons. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, and perinatal mental health concerns. My approach is tailored to each individual, drawing on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and other strategies that best meet your needs and goals. It is a privilege to walk alongside people during vulnerable times, and I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
