Katrina Stone
Katrina Stone is a psychologist, registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA). She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the EMDR Association of Australia. Katrina has experience working with children, adolescents and adults, with a particular interest in supporting parents. She has a background working in school settings and in public mental health. Katrina uses a client-centred, trauma-informed approach to counselling. She uses different evidence-based therapies depending on your needs including attachment informed EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing therapy), Schema therapy, Imagery Rescripting, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) depending on your needs. Underpinning Katrina’s approach is kindness, compassion, warmth, respect and a non-judgmental attitude. Katrina has completed training in Perinatal Mental Health specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and Maternal Mental Health Intensive course through the Seleni Institute.
