Mindfulness Skills Group
This group introduces the mindfulness approach, teaches strategies including formal and informal mindfulness practices, and mindful movement.
Mindfulness aims to increase self-awareness and acceptance. It has been shown to reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety and psychological distress.
100% of past participants indicated that the group was a great addition to individual therapy and gave them practical coping skills for everyday life.
There are currently no scheduled dates for this group.
Cost: No cost if under a current Mental Health Care Plan and will be bulk-billed to Medicare. Sessions are $31.25 each without a current Mental Health Care Plan.
