Tamara is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours and a Master of Psychology (Sports and Exercise) and is currently pursuing a Master of Clinical Psychology.
Tamara has extensive experience in providing clinical and performance psychology services to individuals, with a particular passion for empowering and supporting women in the realm of women's health. She has a special interest in disordered eating and body image, offering compassionate and evidence-based care in these areas.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while also integrating elements from other modalities to create a tailored, eclectic treatment plan. She embraces a holistic, strengths-based approach to therapy.
Known for her empathy and non-judgemental nature, Tamara is eager to support you. She has recently completed the Maternal Mental Health Intensive course through The Seleni Institute and received training from the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE).
