Lisa is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She has over 20 years of experience as a psychologist and has worked with adults and children in a range of clinical settings. She has experience working with a wide range of presentations and individuals, including providing neurodiversity-affirming psychological services to neurodivergent individuals.

Lisa’s approach to therapy is flexible, recognising the individuality of each person’s experience, and focuses on building a strong, collaborative, relationship with clients. Her personalised approach to therapy is informed by a framework of person-centred therapy, attachment theory and psychodynamic theory, and incorporates aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Strengths Based, and Solution-Focused Counselling.

Lisa is conscious of the complexity of emotional experiences in the perinatal period (and into early parenthood) which can lead to unanticipated adjustment and mental health difficulties. She has a particular interest in working with individuals and families during the perinatal period, which was consolidated by training and working as a volunteer support worker with the Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia (PANDA) while she was on maternity leave.
