She has also completed training in Schema Therapy for Perinatal Mental Health Issues, and Perinatal Mental Health specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE).
Kelly appreciates how our attachment style as a child can influence our parenting approach and while there are common aspects of pregnancy, birth, and parenting that allow us to connect with others, there are experiences that can create trauma and lead us to question our capability or suitability as a parent. Kelly aims to work compassionately with her clients to resolve the issues causing them distress or concern.
