Katrina Stone

Katrina Stone is a psychologist, registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA) and an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Katrina has experience working with children, adolescents and adults, with a particular interest in supporting parents. She has a background working in school settings and in public mental health.
Katrina has a client-centred, trauma-informed approach to counselling. She draws on different theories and counselling methods, including attachment theory, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, depending on the client’s needs. Underpinning Katrina’s approach is kindness, compassion, warmth, respect and a non-judgmental attitude.
Katrina has completed training in Perinatal Mental Health specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and Maternal Mental Health Intensive course through the Seleni Institute.
