Kasia Koska

Psychologist: Telehealth

Kasia is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Edith Cowan University, Perth. She has delivered care in a variety of settings, including community mental health services, drug and alcohol youth service, as well as private practice. Kasia’s clinical experience includes working across diverse backgrounds with a range of mental health presentations.

Kasia is concerned with issues spanning the perinatal period and is passionate about providing comprehensive mental health care and support to women as they navigate the many hurdles of pregnancy and motherhood, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, and stress due to life transitions.

Kasia’s therapeutic approach frequently involves the use of models such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, schema therapy, and she often incorporates mindfulness in sessions. She has also completed perinatal specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE), as well as the Maternal Mental Health Intensive course through the Selini Institute. Kasia seeks to create a safe environment for her clients and build a warm and collaborative therapeutic relationship to facilitate self-exploration and healing.
