Emilia is a registered psychologist with APHRA and a dedicated mother of three. With a profound passion for supporting women through the transformative journey of motherhood, Emilia has a special interest in guiding individuals through the perinatal period and the early stages of parenthood.

Having worked across diverse settings including the community sector, schools, universities and private practice, Emilia brings a wealth of experience in assisting and supporting children, adolescents, and adults alike.

Emilia’s primary goal is to create a nurturing and non-judgmental environment where women can feel heard, seen, understood, and supported through this significant phase of life. Through collaborative efforts, she assists women in processing their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, fostering insights and awareness into their experiences and providing them with valuable coping skills to bolster their resilience and emotional well-being.

Emilia adopts a person-centered and attachment-focused approach in her sessions, viewing each individual holistically and emphasizing their strengths. Drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities including interpersonal and emotion-focused therapies, cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), she tails her interventions to meet the unique needs of her clients.

Dedicating to supporting women dealing with perinatal depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relational difficulties, transitional and adjustment challenges as well as early parenting concerns, Emilia is committed to helping her clients navigate through these complex emotions and experiences with empathy and expertise.
