Dr Rebecca McStay

B.Behavioural Science, B.Psychological Science (Honours), Doctor of Clinical Psychology

Rebecca McStay is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has worked for over six years in the public health sector within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in addition to private practice. Rebecca has also worked closely with children on the Autism Spectrum and their families in a therapeutic and research capacity.

She has experience working with individuals and families with complex mental health needs including neurodevelopmental concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, grief and loss, body image and eating concerns, and parent-child relationship difficulties.

Rebecca is passionate about supporting individuals along all stages of their journey to parenthood. She understands the enormity of this transition and provides a wholistic approach to maternal health, building on individual strengths in a client-centred manner. She holds specific interest in perinatal anxiety, utilising CBT, ACT and DBT frameworks.

Rebecca has completed perinatal specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and Seleni Institute.
