Danielle is a generally registered psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families. She is creative and thoughtful in her approach to helping clients and draws on skills and training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (particularly Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems therapy and Animal Assisted Therapy to help clients achieve their goals.
Danielle is passionate about giving people the experience in therapy that feels like pressing the ‘pause’ button on the noise and chaos of life in order to help clients make sense of their thoughts and feelings, regroup, and decide what needs to happen next.
She is warm, relatable and creates a genuinely supportive therapeutic space where it is okay to be truly honest and vulnerable.
Danielle has completed perinatal mental health specific training from the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE),and the Centre for Perinatal Psychology. She has also completed the Circle of Security Parent Facilitator Training.
Danielle acknowledges the significance and hugeness of being or considering being a parent/ caregiver and believes deeply in the importance of people having access to support as they navigate their way through it.
