Anne-Laure Flores

B.Psychology

Anne-Laure has trained as a psychologist in Paris and has been living in Australia for the past 15 years. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).

She has an extensive experience working with families and young children 0-5 years old with a particular interest in early childhood development, attachment, and parenting.

She worked with Tresillian, supporting young parents facing adjustment-attachment-postpartum depression and anxiety issues. She delivered individual therapy as well as group therapy for women around – Postnatal Depression – Building early attachment – Circle of Security.

Anne-Laure's clinical background and her own personal experience of raising two children has deepened her knowledge and understanding of the challenges faced by the parents and how emotional support and self-compassion can be crucial.

Attachment theory, Cognitive Behavioural therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) are the foundation of her therapeutic approach. She also incorporates elements of other therapeutic modalities to provide a holistic approach to maternal health, building on individual strengths.

She is passionate about supporting women in their biggest life transition and has a particular interest for early attachment and how to nourish mother-newborn relationships.

Anne-Laure is also an advocate for ethical cross-cultural practice and is committed to provide a safe space.
