Alana Pisani

Clinical Psychologist: Telehealth

Alana Pisani is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health
Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA)  and a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Alana has worked in the Perinatal Mental Health Service at Sunshine Hospital and the Mother Baby Unit at Northpark Private Hospital, supporting women during their pregnancy, birth and postnatal period.

She has experience working with parents who present with a range of issues
including mood and anxiety disorders, interpersonal difficulties, trauma and perinatal grief and loss.

Alana has a strong interest in perinatal mental health and is passionate about
supporting women during their pregnancies and their transition to parenthood.

She is also trained as a Circle of Security group facilitator and enjoys working with parents to help them to reflect upon their children’s attachment needs in
order to promote and strengthen secure attachments.

Alana works collaboratively with her clients using a warm and engaging interpersonal style and assists them in enhancing their mental health and wellbeing, overcoming life’s challenges and living their life in accordance with their values.

Alana has completed perinatal specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and the Centre for Perinatal Psychology. She is also currently
completing the Maternal Mental Health Intensive course through the Selini Institute.
