Tara Fang

Tara is a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar. She holds a Master of Clinical Psychology and has worked with clients of all ages across clinical, educational, public health, and community settings.

Tara values collaboration, understanding, and connection as the foundation of her therapeutic work. She focuses on creating a safe and compassionate space where clients are supported to build awareness, insight, and skills to overcome their current challenges. Her approach invites curiosity, recognition of personal strengths, and motivation for living a value-congruent life.

Tara enjoys supporting clients with a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, complex trauma, adjustment difficulties, relationship challenges, grief and loss, and self-esteem challenges. Through her work in hospital- and community- based settings, she has developed a strong interest in the intersection of physical and mental health. Tara shares a clinical interest in women's mental health and is passionate about supporting women through life's significant transitions.

Tara draws on a range of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).

Tara is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
