Renae is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
(AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has many years of
experience working with adults, providing psychological support for anxiety, depression, trauma,
and other complex mental health presentations.
Over the past three years, Renae has worked exclusively supporting parents through the
perinatal period and has developed a passion for helping parents navigate the challenges of
conception, pregnancy, birth and early parenthood, including grief and loss in this often very
vulnerable time.
Renae aims to create a compassionate and individualised therapeutic environment, drawing
from a range of modalities that includes, but is not limited to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
(CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and attachment-based therapies. Recently trained
in EMDR she will be able to incorporate this into her future perinatal practice.
Renae is currently completing the Applied Skills in Perinatal Mental Health Assessment Care
training with COPE (Centre of Perinatal Excellence) and will complete her advanced EMDR
training this year. She has completed the Circle of Security Parenting (COS-P) facilitator
training.
