Melissa is a Clinical Psychology Registrar with several years of clinical experience, working within community settings, private practice and university clinics across the lifespan.
Melissa has worked with depression and mood related difficulties, anxiety, trauma, attachment concerns, burnout, and occupational stress. Melissa has a special interest in women’s health and wellbeing, in particular supporting women along any stage of preconception, pregnancy and the post-partum experience, as well as the transition to parenthood, career concerns and exploring evolving identity. She takes an authentic, compassionate and solution-focused approach, creating a non-judgmental space to feel seen and heard.
Melissa tailors her treatment approach to your needs, drawing upon evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
Melissa is currently undergoing further training through COPE Applied Skills in Perinatal Mental Health Assessment and Care.
