Jodie van der Elst

Jodie is a registered psychologist offering support through the emotional, relational, and practical shifts of parenthood. Her work is grounded in a warm, open-minded, and collaborative approach, and she strives to provide a space to build insight, process experiences, explore unhelpful beliefs, and develop practical skills and self-confidence. She also has experience working with children and adolescents and recognises the various challenges that can emerge across different life phases. Jodie can support clients with a range of concerns, including anxiety, adjustment to parenthood, parenting stress, relationship challenges, and navigating grief, loss, or becoming a parent when you’ve lost a parent. Jodie brings empathy to her work and appreciates the emotional and practical shifts that this season of life can entail.
