Emily is a warm and compassionate Registered Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults. Emily has extensive experience spanning over a decade in the mental health and alcohol and other drug sectors. Emily’s clinical experience includes roles within the community, emergency department, acute inpatient units, and private practice. Fundamentally, Emily works from a relational and attachment-based approach, particularly when working with young people with trauma histories, interpersonal difficulties, personality disorders, and/or attachment trauma. Emily draws upon a range of therapeutic approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT).
