General Psychologist

Taryn Braver

Taryn is a registered psychologist with more than 10 years' experience working with children, young people and families. Throughout her career, she has come to appreciate the unique challenges mothers face and the importance of having a space where they can pause, feel heard and focus on their own wellbeing.

Taryn provides a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where women can explore the emotional demands of motherhood and family life. Whether you're adjusting to motherhood, feeling overwhelmed, experiencing anxiety, navigating relationship changes or simply feeling like you've lost yourself amongst the many responsibilities of parenting, therapy offers an opportunity to better understand what's happening and reconnect with what matters most to you.

Her approach is collaborative, practical and evidence-based. Taryn believes there is no one "right" way to navigate motherhood, and that every woman's journey is unique. Drawing on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based approaches, she tailors therapy to each person's individual strengths, needs and goals. Her aim is to help women feel heard, supported and empowered as they navigate the challenges of motherhood and family life.
