Sarah Padbury

General Psychologist

Sarah Padbury

I am a registered psychologist with over 20 years’ experience supporting children, parents and families through the many joys and challenges of family life.

I have a particular passion for supporting parents during the perinatal period. I understand that becoming a parent can be both incredibly rewarding and unexpectedly difficult, and that sometimes we all need a little extra support along the way. I feel privileged to walk alongside parents during these important and often vulnerable times, offering a safe, warm and judgement-free space to talk, reflect and find a way forward.

My experience includes working extensively in both inpatient and outpatient perinatal mental health services, as well as supporting families through adoption and surrogacy. I use evidence-based psychological approaches, always tailored to the individual needs, experiences and goals of each person I work with.

I believe that there is no single “right” way to be a parent. My role is to help you feel understood, supported and more confident in yourself, while providing practical tools to navigate the challenges that parenthood can bring.

I warmly welcome families from all backgrounds and am committed to providing inclusive and culturally respectful care. I particularly welcome clients of diverse gender identities and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds.
