Nicole Turner is a Registered Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience supporting individuals, children, and families across government, community, and private practice settings at state and national levels.. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from the University of Newcastle and a Master of Sexual Health from the University of Sydney. Nicole has worked extensively across child safety, family systems, and therapeutic support, bringing a depth of understanding to complex presentations and life circumstances. Nicole takes a warm, practical, and evidence-based approach, drawing on therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed practice. She supports people navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm, with a focus on building insight, nervous system awareness, regulation, and sustainable coping strategies that can be used in everyday life. She is known for translating psychological concepts into clear, accessible tools, helping clients make sense of their experiences in a way that feels meaningful and manageable. Nicole creates a non-judgemental and collaborative space where individuals can feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward at their own pace. Nicole also values finding moments of humour and joy within sessions. She recognises that therapy does not have to feel heavy to be effective, and that connection, lightness, and shared understanding can play an important role in building trust and supporting change.
