Dr Michelle Tennant, Clinical Psychologist DPsych(Clin), GDipPsy, BA/BComm Michelle is a compassionate and non-judgemental clinical psychologist who brings warmth, authenticity, and a trauma-informed approach to therapy. With a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and years of experience working in public health (oncology) and youth mental health, Michelle is dedicated to empowering clients by meeting them where they are and supporting them to achieve the goals that matter most to them. Using a strength-based and collaborative framework, Michelle honours each client’s unique perspective, fostering a therapeutic space grounded in safety, choice, and mutual respect. Their practice is inclusive, affirming, and deeply committed to providing culturally responsive care and supporting individuals from all walks of life—including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Whether working through trauma, navigating life transitions, or building on personal strengths, Michelle strives to walk alongside clients with openness, empathy, and a strong belief in their capacity for growth and healing.
