General Psychologist
Malvina Patraus-Giurgiu
Malvina is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She works with adults experiencing a range of issues and concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, overwhelm and life transitions. As a psychologist and mother herself, Malvina is passionate about supporting mums and parents through the early perinatal period. She draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and Schema Informed Therapy. Malvina values rapport the therapeutic relationship as a large part of therapy, and brings a warm and empathetic approach to every session. Overall, she tailors her approach to each client and their needs, as everyone is unique and at a different stage of their journey.
