Clinical Psychologist
Karina Dubroja
I am a Clinical and Educational and Developmental Psychologist with experience across public mental health, private practice and educational settings. I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults and parents experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties and adjustment to significant life changes.
I have a particular interest in supporting women through pregnancy and early parenthood. This can be a time of enormous change, bringing joy and connection as well as anxiety, overwhelm, changes in relationships and shifts in identity.
My approach is warm, collaborative and thoughtful. I aim to create a space where you can feel understood, make sense of what you are experiencing and explore patterns in your relationships or past experiences that may be shaping how you feel now. I draw on relational and attachment informed approaches, emotion-focused work and family systems thinking, alongside therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
