Johana Xanthopoulos

Clinical Psychologist

Johana Xanthopoulos

Johana is a Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about supporting women across the lifespan. She has a particular interest in women’s mental health during the perinatal period and enjoys helping women navigate the emotional and psychological changes that can accompany pregnancy, the postpartum period, early parenthood, and other significant life transitions.

Johana works with women experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment difficulties, self-esteem, and the challenges of balancing the many demands of work, relationships, and family life. She recognises that every woman’s experience is unique and is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that is tailored to each individual’s needs.

Having previously worked extensively with children and their families, Johana also understands the importance of supporting the wellbeing of the whole family. This experience, together with her own perspective as a mother of three, has given her a deep appreciation of the complexities of family life and the many transitions that women experience throughout motherhood.

Johana strives to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood and supported. She used evidence-based interventions to help clients build resilience, develop practical coping strategies, and achieve meaningful, lasting change.
