Elizabeth Hutton

Elizabeth approaches her work with warmth and compassion, working collaboratively to support a person’s individual needs. She draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion and Solution Focused Therapy.

Elizabeth has experience working with concerns such as anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, grief, emotional dysregulation and interpersonal conflict. She is passionate about supporting families during the perinatal period and is sensitive to each client’s unique circumstances and experience of becoming a parent. Elizabeth’s goal is to help parents develop helpful coping strategies and strengthen their attachment with their children.

Elizabeth is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi), the Australian Association for Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy (AACBT), and the Australia and New Zealand Association for Contextual Behavioural Science (ANZ ACBS).
