Amrita is an insightful psychologist based in the Central Coast with a background in the trauma sector, who is dedicated to creating a safe and transformative space for her clients. Amrita leans towards an evidence-based, humanistic & post-modern approach with elements from modalities such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative therapy and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. She is trained in CBT, REBT and Mindfulness integrated CBT, which blends eastern meditation practices with CBT. She is also fluent in three additional languages: Hindi, Gujarati & Malayalam allowing her to connect with culturally and linguistically diverse clients on a deeper level.
