Preschooler Challenges: How to Navigate those Big Emotions (Workshop/Forum)

Do you have a preschooler with some big emotions and often big reactions? Do you find this stressful as you're not sure where to start? Do you find yourself frustrated and angry at times?

Now that your baby is entering the preschool years, it’s time to look at things a little differently. Their needs are more defined, with a requirement for more input into decision-making, problem-solving and negotiation. Emotions often run high during this period and parents are left wondering where their less complex child went. Learning about emotions, developmental needs and the true meaning of the barrage of questions that often comes during this period will provide a clearer view for both you and your child.

In this once-off 1.5 hour discussion (with Question & Answer), Louise Shalders discusses how your child’s brain development and perception of life are effecting their behaviour and emotions. You'll learn strategies for responding so you keep your cool.

The same event will run on a Tuesday evening and a Saturday morning for you to choose the most suitable. Participants will be limited to 15 per session.

Date/Time 1:  Tuesday 9th October 7:00pm - 8:30pm
