Morgana Lord

Psychologist: Fitzroy and Collingwood

B.Arts (Psychology, Honours), Grap Dip Psychology

Morgana is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra). She has experience working as a psychologist across a variety of settings including education, drug and alcohol, employment, and family law, providing both assessment and counselling services to children, adults and families. Morgana has predominantly worked with separated parents to assist in developing appropriate parenting arrangements in the best interests of their children.

Morgana works from a strengths-based approach to mental wellbeing, using the evidenced based therapies of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), as well as providing guidance in the development of mindfulness techniques. She is passionate about supporting women experiencing fertility issues and/or undergoing assisted reproductive technologies and in supporting women adjusting to parenthood. Morgana aims to provide a therapeutic environment where women can feel safe to express and explore their experiences during the perinatal period and to develop a collaborative therapeutic relationship to best support mental wellbeing.

Morgana is an accredited Tuning in to Kids and Dads Tuning in to Kids facilitator and has completed perinatal specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and with the Seleni Institute.
