Julie is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Professionals Regulatory Agency (AHPRA). She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and a student member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association.
Julie has served in the Australian Army for almost 25 years, initially as a soldier and for the last ten years as a uniformed psychologist. She has extensive experience providing mental health and psychology services to Australian Defence Force members.
Julie has a passion for supporting people to thrive and flourish with a strengths-based, person-centred approach to therapy. She utilises techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy within session.
Julie is completing a Master of Psychology (Clinical), and recently commenced the Applied Skills in Perinatal Mental Health Assessment and Care training through the national Centre of Perinatal Excellence.
