Brooke is a registered psychologist with a special interest in relational and attachment trauma. She has an integrative and collaborative approach that draws from a number of modalities to provide individualised and comprehensive care for each person's therapy journey.
Brooke is inspired by interpersonal neurobiology and trauma informed care and her chosen modalities include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and Narrative Therapy, as well as somatic and sensorimotor processing techniques.
While Brooke works with people with a wide range of concerns, she has specialised interest and training in healing post-trauma, including the complexities of shame, fear, identity, powerlessness, anxiety, and depression. Brooke also has a strong background in sexual and gender identity, including minority stress, coming out issues, and working with people living with HIV.
