B.Psychological Science (Honours), Master of Clinical Psychology

Alex is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Alex has gained clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health environments, specialising in perinatal support, women’s health, and the management of acute mental health conditions.

Alex has worked with adults across a range of presentations including:
Interpersonal difficulties
Adjustment to parenthood
Anxiety
Depression
OCD
Perfectionism
Breastfeeding difficulties
Personality vulnerabilities
Postnatal psychosis
Chronic pain

Alex employs a range of therapeutic styles, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and attachment theory. Alex delivers friendly, empathetic, evidence-based care customised to meet the distinctive needs and circumstances of each individual.

Alex is currently completing perinatal-specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE)
