Tamara is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Tamara completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours and a Master of Psychology (Sports and Exercise). She is currently completing a Masters of Clinical Psychology.
Tamara has provided clinical and performance psychology services to individuals. She is particularly passionate in empowering and supporting women in the area of women's health.
Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and acceptance commitment therapy (ACT) are the foundation of Tamara's therapeutic approach. She also incorporates elements of other therapeutic modalities to produce a unique, eclectic treatment plan. She uses a holistic strengths-based approach to therapy.
Tamara is empathic and non-judgemental, and is looking forward to supporting you She has recently completed the Maternal Mental Health Intensive course through The Seleni Institute and training through the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE).
