Mia is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), completing ongoing training towards endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
Having come to psychology relatively late in life, Mia brings rich life experience that helps to build a caring, supportive and non-judgmental environment for parents. She enjoys getting to know people and believes that one size definitely does not fit all,
Mia has gained experience working in private hospital, private practice and not for profit settings and draws upon her training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Mia’s clients describe her as empathetic, thorough and person-centred. In her spare time, Mia enjoys spending time with family, playing with her dog, fishing, snorkelling and singing.
