Kellie is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with seven years experience working with individuals and families. She has supported people with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, suicidal ideation, chronic pain, life-limiting illnesses, trauma, stress management, relationship issues, parenting and anger.
Kellie’s gentle, warm and approachable nature, combined with her holistic approach to peoples’ well-being, shines through her clinical care. Kellie has completed perinatal training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and maternal mental health training through Selini Institute.
In her work, Kellie draws on a range of therapeutic interventions, including Focused Psychological Strategies, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Neurobiology, Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness, Expressive Therapies and Play Therapy. Kellie takes a strength-based, trauma-informed, holistic and collaborative approach sensitive to her client’s needs to build trust, safety and rapport within the therapeutic relationship.
