Kayla Cutajar is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Currently she is in her final year internship to full registration and studying for clinical endorsement at Swinburne University. Kayla is passionate about assisting children and families achieve healthy relationships that foster a greater sense of support, security and connection with one another. This stems from her extensive work as an early childhood educator where she developed her holistic perspective in practice. In 2018 she was motivated by her passion to work with children, parents and young people at Healing Minds Psychology and The Social Learning Studio in private practice and education settings. Here she enjoyed assisting her clients through group, family and individual therapy develop healthy prosocial relationships and overcome depression and anxiety barriers to reaching their goals. This year Kayla is motivated to increase her knowledge in perinatal mental health to further help clients achieve healthy relationships with their newborn, family and wider community. Kayla is completing the Perinatal Mental Health Program at The University of Sydney and has completed perinatal specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE).
