Psychologist: Sydenham, Telehealth
Gamze is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Gamze has worked with adults and families in a range of settings including schools, hospitals, private practice and community mental health services. She has worked with a variety of mental health conditions and presenting issues, including depression, anxiety disorders, adjustment issues and grief and loss. Gamze uses a combination of therapeutic interventions and techniques, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), person centered therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). She has experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and is fluent in Turkish. Gamze is completing the Perinatal Mental Health Program at The University of Sydney and has completed perinatal specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE).
