Felicity Rea

Psychologist: Malvern, Telehealth

Felicity is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has 20 years’ experience working in community mental health, alcohol and other drug treatment, research, training and private practice.

Felicity has worked with a diverse range of people including children, adolescents, individuals, couples & families. She has experience assisting people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, alcohol & other drug problems, family, relationship & parenting issues, career and personal development concerns.

Felicity values a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship and has a non-judgemental, client-centred approach to supporting people with their concerns. She utilises a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioural therapies and narrative therapy.

Felicity is currently completing perinatal specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE), and the University of Sydney continuing development program: Perinatal Mental Health Course.
