Emma is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Emma has a diverse background in psychology. Initially working with organisations to support employee well-being and engagement, Emma broadened her focus to work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties related to anxiety, depression, anger, relationships, grief, work-related and adjustment issues. Emma is particularly passionate about supporting the mental health of women as they navigate challenges emerging in the perinatal period.
Emma aims to combine a warm, supportive style with evidence-based therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs and circumstances of each of her clients. In particular, Emma draws on therapies such as cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution-focused therapy (SFT).
Emma has recently completed perinatal specific professional development through the Seleni Institute and the Centre of perinatal Excellence (COPE). She is also currently completing her Master of Clinical Psychology.
