Ebonnie Landwehr

Psychologist: Telehealth

BA Psychology, Criminology, and Justice, BA (Hons) Psychology, Master of Criminal Justice by Research, Doctor of Philosophy (Clinical Psychology, Ongoing)

Ebonnie a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Her therapeutic approach is non-judgemental and collaborative, and she emphasises the importance of healthy parent-child attachment and a trauma-informed perspective. Ebonnie incorporates aspects of cognitive-behavioural, metacognitive, schema, and acceptance and commitment therapies into the treatment she provides.

Ebonnie’s clinical experience includes inpatient and outpatient women’s health, child and adolescent trauma, and private practice. Additionally, she has taught undergraduate and postgraduate psychology. Ebonnie has assisted children and adults across a range of problems including birth trauma, adjustment to parenthood, depression, anxiety, worry/rumination, social skills and anger, OCD, and body dysmorphic disorder. She has a strong interest in working with individuals who are experiencing psychological distress during the perinatal/postnatal period.

Ebonnie is currently undertaking the specialised Applied Skills in Perinatal Mental Health Assessment and Care course through the Centre of Perinatal Excellence, and is completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology.
