Dr Amy Thorpe

Dr Amy Thorpe is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA). She has extensive experience working in public and private healthcare in areas including rehabilitation, pain management, oncology, and trauma.
Through this work, Amy has developed a strong understanding of the interface between physical and mental health. With her compassionate approach, Amy strives to help clients develop insight and collaboratively determine management strategies to meet individual needs.
She is passionate about working with parents to promote positive early parenting experiences in addition to talking through fertility, pregnancy, and/or birth concerns. Amy enjoys facilitating group sessions and has completed the Circle of Security Parenting facilitator training. She has also completed perinatal specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and has completed the Maternal Mental Health Intensive course through the Selini Institute.
